I think the perimeter is 64. If you divided the 4 sides of the window by 256, you get 64. Sorry if it's not right. I hope it is. c;

So, because it is a square window, all sides are equal. To find the area, you would square one length of the side of the window, which is the same as multiplying 2 lengths together. To find the length of one side, find the square root of 256, which equals 16. This means that one side of the square is 16 in long, which means all four sides are 16 inches long. To find the perimeter, add up all the sides of the square:

16+16+16+16 or multiply 4(16)

4(16)=64 in

Perimeter= 64 in
