2. Use the order of operations to simplify the following expression.

16 + (14-6) x 3 - 6^2÷ 6

= 16 + 8 x 3 - 36 / 6

= 16 + 24 - 6

= 40 - 6

= 34

Answer: A) 34


3.Find the value of each expression. Round decimals to the nearest hundredth if necessary.

2(8 - 18 ÷ 3) - 11 x 5

= 2(8 - 6) - 11 x 5

= 2(2) - 55

= 4 - 55

= -51
