A small sack of sand has a density of 1.5 g/cm3 and a mass of 1500 g. How much space (volume) does the sand occupy? 750 cm3 2250 cm3 1000 cm3

It's actually 1000 cm 3:

Proof:

You take the 1.5 and divide it by 1500 and you get 1000 cm 3

1.5 = 1500g/Volume


Rearrange the equation:


Volume = 1500/1.5 = 1000


So your answer is 3. 1000 cm3
