(f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

= (2x + 6) / 3x - (sqrtx - 8) / 3x

= [2x + 6 - sqrtx + 8] / 3x

= (2x - sqrtx + 14 ) / 3x

Its option A

We know that According to Algebra of Real Functions :

If f and g are two real functions which are defined under the same domain then (f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

Given f(x) =
(2x + 6)/(3x) and g(x) =
(√(x) - 8)/(3x)

⇒ (f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

(f - g)(x) = (2x + 6)/(3x) - (√(x) - 8)/(3x) = (2x + 6 - √(x) + 8)/(3x)

(f - g)(x) = (2x - √(x) + 14)/(3x)

First Option is the answer
