Hey again!

Step 1. Simplify both sides... 6(2)(4)=3(4x+8) and 6(2)(4)=(3)(4x)+(3)(8)

48=12x+24

Step 2. Flip the entire equation... 12x+24=48

Step 3. Subtract 24 from both sides... 12x+24−24=48−24

12x=24

Step 4. Divide both sides by 12... 12x/12=24/12

X=2

Final answer: x=2
