A 5 N force pushes on the right side of a box. At the same time, a 10 N force pushes on the left side of the box. What happens to the box?

A. It is moved to the right by the 10 N force.

B. It is moved to the right by a combined force of 15 N.

C. It is moved to the right by a net force of 5 N.

D. The forces pushing on both sides cause it to remain at rest.

B. It is moved to the right by a combined force of 15 N

That is because since the left side has more force than the 5 N right side, the box would be moving to the right. Altogether the box would have a combined of 15 N

The answer is C as there is more force on the left side ( excess of 5 N) which therefore pushed it to the right with a force of 5 N!
