You are at a concert and the seating area is shown below. Using the standard rule of thumb (1 person per 2.5 sq. ft.), estimate the attendance (to the nearest whole person).

We are given

length of seating =625 ft

width of seating =300ft

now, we can find area of seating

A=625* 300 ft^2

A=187500 ft^2

We are given

the standard rule of thumb

1 person = 2.5 sq. ft

we have to find total number of person

so,

N=(187500ft^2)/(2.5ft^2)

N=75000

So, the attendance is 75000 persons..........Answer
