Answer: (a)942.85 rad/s

(b) 15,085.71 inches per minute

Explanation:

Given

the radius of tire r=16 inches

N=150 revolution per minute(rpm)

So, the angular speed of the tire
\omega=2\pi N=2* (22)/(7)* 150=942.85\ rad/minute

The linear speed of the tire
v=\omega r

v=(6600)/(7)* 16=15,085.71\ \text{inches per minute}
