A glass table is able to apply a maximum normal force of 500 N. The floor that stands on is able to apply a maximum normal force of 65,000 N. A large object with a mass of 50 kg is lowered onto the table using a pulley system. What happens if anything to the table?

A. The table will not be in equilibrium.

B. The table will move.

C. The table will break, and the object will come to rest on the floor.

D. Nothing will happen to the table, but it will push back with a force equal to it’s weight.
