Please help and show how you show the answer.

2 (x + 10) = 2 (3x - 8)

2 (12 - w) = -2 (w - 17) - 10

2 (a + 11) = -3 (16 - a)

4 (3q + 10) = 6 (2q -9)

3k - 14 = 3 (k - 5) + 1

-3 (3c + 5) = 2 (10 - c)

-2 (n - 12) + 1 = -2n + 25

15 - 2w - 2 = 2 (w - 15) - 1

5 (6p - 3) - 2 = 2 (15p - 11) + 5

13 (m - 2) = -4 (11 + m) + 1

10 - 4 (3 - 2y) = 8y - 5

2 (12 - y) = 23 - (2y - 1)

1/3 (24x - 54) = 11 (x - 4) + 5

k + 11 = -3k - 25 + 2k

4 (2r + 3) = 15r - 11 + 1 - 7r

1 - (2n + 9) = 4 (n - 2)

I won't show you how to do each but I will help you through the first two.

2 (x + 10) = 2 (3x - 8)

Step 1: Divide both sides by 2 to get: (x + 10) = (3x - 8)

Step 2: Subtract x from both sides to get: 10 = 2x - 8

Step 3: Add 8 to both sides to get: 18 = 2x

Step 4: Divide both sides by 2 to get: x = 9

2 (12 - w) = -2 (w - 17) - 10

Step 1: Distribute the 2 and -2 on both sides to get: 24 - 2w = -2w + 34 -10

Step 2: Simplify to get: 24 - 2w = -2w + 24

Step 3: Add 2w to both sides to get: 24 = 24

Since it ended like that, w = any value
