AYE PLSS HELP RIGHT AWAY !!! A single cell of bacteria is placed with some nutrients in a sterile environment as part of an experiment. A researcher notes that the bacteria count doubles every hour.

Part C- Write an expression that models this situation using the general form of an exponential expression.

Answer:

The general form of an exponential expression is A(b)x.

To write the expression, find the value of b. The situation models growth, so r = b − 1. Substitute the value of r to get b = 2.

Now substitute the values of A and b into the standard form of an exponential expression:

A(b)x = 1(2)x = 2x

Here, x represents the number of hours the bacteria stays in the sterile environment.

Okkkk sooo the equation a(b)^x is what would answer the amount of bacteria at a certain hour.

a= amount of bacteria in beginning

b=2, since the amount is doubling each hour

x= the hour, x-intercept, that you're trying to find

For example, you start with 4 bacteria, it doubles hourly, and you need to find the 6th hour you equation would be: 4(2)^6

So the answer would be 256.

Hope this time I got a better answer etcetc loll
