Answer:
3^(14)

Explanation:

(3^(9) )/(3^(-5) )

Properties of exponents (negative exponent) says that a term can be moved from the numerator to the denominator and vice versa by flipping the sign.

So,

(1)/(3^(-5) ) =3^(5)

Properties of exponents (Product Rule) also say that

a^(x) *a^(y) = a^(x+y)

So,

3^9*3^5=3^(9+5) =3^(14)

Another way to solve this is simply using the Properties of exponents (Quotient Rule) which states

a^(x) /a^(y) =a^(x-y)

So,

(3^(9) )/(3^(-5) )=3^(9-(-5)) =3^(14)
