Please I need help with this so if josh rents a kayak at a nearby statepark. He pays $12.99 plus $3.75 for each hour that he spends in the water. How much did josh spend if he was in the river for 4 1/2 hours

Lets say x equals how many hours Josh spent in the water.

12.99 + 3.75x = the cost

12.99 + 3.75(4.5) = 12.99 + 16.875 = $29.87

The answer is $29.87
