I only know how to do number 1 and 3
1. So the Pythagorean Theorem is a²+b²=c² and c² is always the hypotenuse while a² and b² are the legs. So here a²=10 and b²=24 but we don't know what c² is so we set up the problem as 10²+24²=c² and simplify from there.
10²=100 and 24²=576 and 100+576=676, so now we have 676=c², then all we have to do now is take the square root of √676 which will give us 26. So the hypotenuse or c²=26.
3. Now just do the same thing as we did in problem 1, find your legs and hypotenuse. And again we are missing the hypotenuse side so just use the a and b values to find c. So a²=7 and b²=16, which will make the problem 7²+16²=c². Making it 49+256=c², which will give 305=c² then just take the square root of √305, which will give you 17.4643. So c=17.4643
