Explanation:

1.

#1 and #2. This question it's about PEMDAS. This lesson it's about order of operations. p-parenthesis, e-exponents, m-multiply, d-divide, a-add, and s-subtract. It can also go left to right.

calculate parenthesis first.

9(30-2)

multiply left to right.

9*28

=252

answer: 252

1. Remember to follow PEMDAS. First, solve the parenthesis, then multiply by 9

30 - 2 = 28

28 x 9 = 252

252 is your answer for your first question

2. Again, follow PEMDAS & left -> right rule. First, solve for multiplication, then division, and finally addition.

First, multiply: 9 x 2 = 18

Next, divide: 18/-3 = -6

Finally, add: -8 + -6 = -8 - 6 = -14

-14 is your answer
