Are bacteria harmful to us? explain

There is good bacteria and bad bacteria

good:

The species of bacteria that colonize our respiratory and digestive systems help set up checks and balances in the immune system bacteria breaks down carbohydrates and toxins, and they help us absorb the fatty acids which cells need to grow.

bad:

Some species of bacteria in your body can result in diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity.

Yes and no.

Yes because some bacteria can cause severe diseases like cancer and like diabetes.

No because bacteria in the immune system breaks down stuff like toxins and I believe carbohydrates.
