Answer:

NOT ENOUGH with which to fill eight 9-oz bags (72 oz).

Explanation:

Rate at which Machine A operates:

12.75 oz

------------- = 4.25 oz/min

3 min

Rate at which Machine B operates:

18 oz

---------- = 1.8 oz/min

10 min

In 10 min, Machine A will have popped (4.25)(10), or 42.5 oz popcorn, and

Machine B (1.8)(10), or 18 oz popcorn. Together, the two machines will have popped (42.5 + 18) oz popcorn, or 60.5 oz.

This is NOT ENOUGH with which to fill eight 9-oz bags (72 oz).
