Answer/Why: Problems colonies faced in the Americas what mostly famine, many illnesses, and that there wasn't really and law to have order in which caused problems. Many settlers stole food from the Native Americans. Which made the Native Americans attack the settlers.

The English settlers did not find gold in their settlement of colonies, but instead were stricken with starvation, disease and terrible suffering. Only few colonists managed to survive during the first colonization time. Pilgrims and Puritans came in the years that followed, and they, too, faced many hardships among the Indian attacks.
