you weigh more in earth than on the moon because there is less gravity on the moon . when you are on the earth the gravitational pull is pulling down harder on us than .

Mass of an object doesn't change wherever you take it. All the thing changes is the weight of the body which is associated with the gravity of the celestial body. As the gravitational force on moon is less than that of the earth.
