Answer:

12

Explanation:

First we solve for y

5y + 3x = 4

Pass the x to the other side of the equality and change signs since we moved it

5y = -3x + 4

We divide everything by 5 so we get a result for y

y = -3/5x + 4/5

in other words,

y = -0.6 + 0.8

Now we substitute

5(-0.6 + 0.8) + 3x = 4

5(0.2) + 3x = 4

1 + 3x = 4

3x = 4 - 1

3x = 3

x = 1

Now that we got the value for X & Y we do the equation for 15y + 9x

15(-0.6 + 0.8) + 9 (1)

15(0.2) + 9

3 + 9

12

Hope this helped

it should be 12 because when youmultiply you multiply everything by the same thing
