In order to do this, you simply have to plug in 10 into G(x)=G(10)

Now, plug in x: -3(10)+1

-30+1

-29

Because this is asking for what the y value will be when the x value is 10, we simply replace the 'x' variable with 10.

G(10) = -3(10) + 1

G(10) = -30 + 1

G(10) = -29
