2. Launch of Transit 1B by US Navy, which happened between 1964 and 1967 and involved 6 satellites.
3. Launch of NAVSTAR satellites in 1973, it was a program that combined Army and Armed Forces technology, it was first called Navigation Technology Program.
4. Launch of additional satellites, making a total of 31 satellites in the GPS II cluster. Between 1978 and 1985, 11 satellites were launched, by 1995 the cluster was made up of 24 satellites.
