¿Cuánto pesa? We have discussed that Spanish-speaking countries use the metric system to weigh and measure objects. In the United States, we weigh things in pounds, but Spanish-speaking countries weigh objects in kilograms. The abbreviation for pound is lb. and the abbreviation for kilogram is kg.
