Expression ----》 0.80x+1.25y
x=pounds of sugar
y=pounds of butter

*Plug in the numbers*
0.80(20)+1.25(6)=$23.5 to buy 6 pounds of butter and 20 pounds of sugar

x is sugar
y is butter
z is total money

$0.80x + $1.25y = z

the total money spent if the Baker bought 6 pounds of butter and 20 pounds of sugar would be $23.50.
