I also have three large chocolate candy bars that are perforated into eight sections each. If I divide the bars into these sections how many sections will I have altogether?

Also, can you explain how to draw a model of this problem?

3*8 = 24

You will have 24 sections.

Take a rectangle. Divide it into 8 equal sections

Repeat two more times. That will give you 24 equal peices.
