According to Alexis Tocqueville, the democracy in America attaches the importance of its officials.
Alexis Tocqueville published two volumes about democracy in America. The focus of his book is an analysis of why the republican representative democracy has succeeded in the United States while failing in other many places. He discussed the possible threats and dangers to democracy. He also believes that democracy has a tendency to corrupt the thoughts of people thinking that they are in control, when in fact, they have no influence in any form in the government as well as the tyranny of the majority.
