As x is the Hypotenuse of the Triangle

x² = 6² + 3²

x² = 36 + 9

x² = 45

x = √(45)

x = 3√(5)

Option C is the Answer

Answer:

The correct answer option is C. 3√5.

Explanation:

Here in this figure, we have a square and a triangle. We know that a square all the sides of equal length.

Since the side length of this square is 6 which also the side of the triangle then it is also equal to 6.

Now that we know the height and the base of the triangle, we can find x which is the hypotenuse by using the Pythagoras Theorem.

x^2 = 6^2 + 3^2

x^2 = 36 + 9

x^2 = 45

Taking square root on both the sides, we get:

x= 3√(5)
