Tilt head to side, pull pinna up and back, don’t touch end of bottle to eat.

Step-by-step explanation:

Pinna up and back and head to side allow medication to easily flow into ear. Touching bottle to ear may contaminate medication for future use. Also warm medication with hands.

To prevent increased circulation and itching, lotions should be gently but firmly patted on the skin, rather than rubbed in. Shake all lotions thoroughly immediately before application. Lotions are aqueous and are easily cleansed with water. Lotions are not oil based.
