5y - 2x = 10
Is the original problem. If you simplify this, you will get

5y = 2x + 10
Divide the equation by 5

y = (2)/(5)x + 2
The slope is

(2)/(5)
While the perpendicular slope, which is the reciprocal of the slope, is

- (5)/(2)
