[p = pizza]

To solve you have to separate the p by removing the (x3)

1) Divide both sides of the equation by 3

[ 16.50 / 3 = p}

2) Divide 16.50 by 3

[5.30]

3) 5.30 = p

Given cost of 3 pizzas = $16.50

So, cost of 1 pizza will be =
(16.50)/(3)=5.50

Unit rate of 1 pizza is $ 5.50
