Answer:

r = 3.98 (or 4.00 if you round to the nearest tenth)

d = 7.96 (or 8.00 if you round to the nearest tenth)

Are you asking for the diameter or the radius? In any case here is the answer to both:

To find the circumference of a circle you have to use 2 x Pi times radius or Pi times diameter. so (2)3.1415* r = C or 3.1415* d = C (this is how to find circumference).

Now to find the diameter of the circle do:

3.1415 * d = 25 then use the division property of equality: d = 7.9579...

Round to the nearest hundredth d = 7.96.

To find the radius of a circle (this is a little more tricky):

(2)3.1415*r = 25. Multiply 2 with 3.1415. 6.283*r = 25 then use the division property of equality to find the radius. 6.283 divided by 25 is 3.9789.

r = 3.9789. Round to the nearest hundredth 3.98. r = 3.98.

wow that took a lot of time to explain.
