Answer:

45cm

Explanation:

Add 4+3+5 which is 12. Divide 180 by 12 which is 15. Now multiply 15 to each number (4x15, 3x15, and 5x15) The smallest would be 3x15=45

Check

4x15=60

3x15=45

5x15=75

60+45+75=180

Answer:

The height of the smallest sister is 45 cm

Explanation:

We are given that the heights of the three sisters are in the ratio 4:3:5

Let the ratio be x

So, The heights of three sisters are 4x,3x and 5x

We are given that The total height of three of Thumbelina’s sisters is 180 cm.

So,
4x+3x+5x=180

12x=180

x=(180)/(12)

x=15

Height of smallest sister = 3x=3(15)=45 cm

Hence The height of the smallest sister is 45 cm
