Hello there,

Parallel Lines: have the same slope

Slope Intercept Form: y = mx + b

Given Equation:

y = -3/2x + 4

Point Given: (4, 0)

Plug in and Solve:

0 = 2/3(4) + b

0 = 8/3 + b

-8/3 -8/3

-------------------

-8/3 = b

Answer: y = 2/3x - 8/3

Hope I Helped!
