Explanation:

Part 1:

Start with x = the number of cars that he sells. So 250x +2400 =4400

250(8)+2400=4400

Part 2.

Same equation but you are looking for 6000 dollars or right over.

250(14)+2400=5900

So you would need it to be 15 cars, 250(15)+2400=6150

Part 3.

You we need to get the value for 12 cars, so

250(12)+2400=5400 then multiply that by 12 for a year

5400*12=64,800 Would be your minimum value
