Answer:6+2×(3+1)

Step-by-step explanation: When it's brackets without a symbol in front of them, such as in the question, it means times. But no (6+2)×(3+1) which would be 32 makes it 2×(3+1) instead, making 8 then adding the 6 makes 14.

you have to distribute the 2 and multiply it by 3 and 1 to get an answer of 8, then add that to 6 which equals 14
