Hi There!

Question - Which best describes another comparison that Melville could have used to symbolize the rigid and unalterable character of Ahab in Chapter 28 of Moby-Di ck?

Answer - A stone monument

Why - at the time the children probably didn't to well that it was just a rock but they thought is was monument, I mean they probably saw somehing cool about the rock and was a monument for somethings.

Hope This Helps :)
