A wire 27 cm long is cut into two pieces. The longer piece is 5cm longer than the shorter piece. Find the length of the shorter piece of wire.

27- 5=22 we have 22cm. to work with 22 divided by 2= 11 plus 5= 16 lengths are 16 and 11
