Answer:

An inequality to determine how many sandwiches he can buy is
4.50x+6\leq 50 and no. of sandwiches he bought is 9 .

Explanation:

Let x be the no. of sandwiches he can buy

Cost of 1 sandwich = $4.50

Cost of x sandwiches = 4.50x

He already bought chips for $6

At most, Kyle can spend $50 on sandwiches and chips for a picnic.

So,
4.50x+6\leq 50

4.50x \leq 50-6

4.50x \leq 44

x \leq (44)/(4.50)

x \leq 9.78

Hence an inequality to determine how many sandwiches he can buy is
4.50x+6\leq 50 and no. of sandwiches he bought is 9 .
