Mr. and Mrs. Phipps have a monthly budget of $4,700. Mr. Phipps earns $3,260 per month after taxes. Mrs. Phipps averages 15 hours a week part time. Assuming there are four weeks in a month, how much will she need to earn per hour to make a sufficient amount for the family to meet its budget?

Mr. Phipps earns $3,260 per month after taxes.

subtract dat from a monthly budget of $4,700,

mrs phipps needs to make 4700-3260 = $1440 per month to meet budget

she works 15 hours a week n theres 4 weeks in a month

so she work 4*15 = 60 hours a month

she need to earn 1440/60 = $24 per hour to meet budget
