This sheet presumes making number into 10 helps make adding easier

2. 8 + 5 =

10 + 3 = 13 we get 3 by taking 2 from 5 and giving it to the 8 to get 10


3. 8 + 6 =

10 + 4 = 14 take 2 from 6 to give to 8 to make 10


I suspect the purpose of this is to promote mental math
