The scientific notation:

a\cdot10^k where
1\leq a < 10 and
k\in\mathbb{Z}

We have:

(1.6\cdot10^(14))/(3.2\cdot10^7)=(1.6)/(3.2)\cdot10^(14-7)=(16)/(32)\cdot10^7=(1)/(2)\cdot10^7=(1)/(2)\cdot10\cdot10^6=\boxed{5\cdot10^6}\\\\Used:\\\\(a^n)/(a^m)=a^(n-m)

1.6x10^14/3.2x10^7

divide the numbers subtract the exponents

(1.6 /3.2) * 10^(14-7)

.5 * 10^7

now scientific notation has 1 number before the decimal move the number, decrease the exponent

5 * 10^6
