Hello! I was playing my concert pieces for my clarinet, and i was playing just fine until my C on the upper joint, and it didn't come out. I also have a high C, B flat and natural, and A which is the C, B flat and natural, and A notes with the register key, and they all didn't come out, but my other notes are fine. Help a clarinetist out please :))

Answer: I play the flute, but my friend plays the clarinet, if you can, look for a music store, they will usually look at it. I´m sorry I can´t give you a good direct answer. Or even ask a band director.

I hope you have a good day/night!!

If it’s possible check the inside of the clarinet to see if there is anything stuck, over time with wind instruments the notes don’t come out right because something is either stuck in the instrument or there is saliva on the inside. So I suggest try cleaning the inside and if it doesn’t work try having a professional fix it.

(sorry if this isn’t helpful.)
