The Bantu migration in sub-Saharan Africa reminds in lot of ways of the migration of the Slavic people in Europe. The portion of the continent to which extent they managed to spread out is very similar to that of the Slavic one. Also, a similarity is, that in general, the Bantu were not killing the people on the territories where they moved in, but like the Slavic people, they were integrating with the local population, but because they were in greater number, they managed to make their culture and language dominant in the newly inhabited places.
