The answer should be B - If errors are not removed from areas within a gene, then the resulting proteins could be affected.

Choice D is just flat out wrong, Choice C is incorrect as errors in body cells are not passed to offspring, only errors in gametes, and Choice A is wrong because Lipids are not affected by genes. Hope this helped!
