Chloroplast are found mainly in the leaves, this is because they are used in photosynthesis to produce food for the plant . The reason they are in the leaves is because the leaves have a large surface area which helps absorb more sunlight than any other parts of the plant and sunlight is required for photosynthesis.
It is in greater amount in the month when the sun shines at its most. July is one of of the month.
