Answer: Seeing that you have to subtract c and r you subtract the 3x from the 8x and also subtract 12 from 0 and you get P(x)=11x--12

Answer:

Correct option is:

D) p(x)=5x-12

Explanation:

r(x)=8x

c(x)= 3x+12

p(x) = r(x) - c(x)

⇒ p(x)=8x-(3x+12)

⇒ p(x)=8x-3x-12

⇒ p(x)=5x-12

Hence, Correct option is:

D) p(x)=5x-12
