The formula for the volume of a cone is 1/3 pi r^2 h
So for this equation...
(1/3)(3.14)(2.5^2)(9) = 58.875
So the answer would be A. 59 cu. cm

Remember that radius is equal to half of the diameter :)

Answer:

A) 59 cu. cm

Explanation:

diameter = 5cm

Radius = 5/2 = 2.5 cm

Volume of cone =
(1)/(3)*\pi *r^(2) h

=(1)/(3) * 3.14 * 2.5 *2.5 * 9\\\\= 3.14 * 2.5 * 2.5 * 3\\\\= 58.875\\

= 59 cu cm
