Answer:
Well, as a woman, I assume that my life would be quite simple. Most jobs for women in ancient China were taking care of children, and preparing meals for family. I would most likely have other jobs such as weaving, sewing, and perhaps working in a field with my husband. Women in ancient China were basically inferior to men, and they weren't seen as equals. I imagine my life as being quite boring. I also imagine that life would be a lot harder, because of the lack of technology back in that period of the country. Cooking would be a lot harder to do, they used sticks and bones as utensils prior to 300 CE. They had something called a "Li" which was used to boil. They had things called a "Yan" which was used to steam. What you ate really depended on your class. The upper classes got fancy animal meats.
Doing tasks that seem very simple to us, were most likely more difficult. They used the ash from plants to wash clothing and bathe. The rice water they used acted as a detergent. The plant ash was mixed with crushed seashells, that removed stains out of fabrics. When I would go to a market to shop for foods, I would either have to walk, or use an animal cart.
It actually might have been interesting to live in that time period, but I know that I would face challenges. Having to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner would definitely be tricky to have to cook everyday. Having to take care of children would also be a difficult task to manage every day.
