For this question we have to take LCM of the fractions to simplify it and process further. So, by LaTeX interpreter equation editor, Here we go.

\mathbf{Least \: Common \: Multiplier: 3x}

\mathbf{(2)/(x) * 3x + (1)/(3) * 3x - (4)/(x) * 3x}

Combine the fractions to multiply the numerator.

\mathbf{(2 * 3x)/(x) + (1 * 3)/(3)x = (4 * 3x)/(x)}

\mathbf{(6x)/(x) + (3)/(3)x = (12x)/(x)}

\mathbf{6 + x = 12}

Just subtract both of the current sides by the numbered value "6".

\mathbf{6 + x - 6 = 12 - 6}

\boxed{\underline{\mathbf{Final \: \: Answer: \: x = 6}}}

Hope it helps.
