a and b =sides

c=hypotenuse

Since you are finding the hypotenuse(c), you don't have to rearrange the formula

plug in a and b.

10^2+24^2=c^2

solve

100+576=c^2

676=c^2

do the square root of 676 to get rid of the c^2

26=c
